Eurogroup for Animals has launched a campaign #StopTheTrucks, focused on stopping the transport of live animals within and outside the EU. Shocking footage of animal abuse occurring during transportation has recently surfaced, and the latest scenes from the Istrian port of Raša have revealed Croatia’s involvement in this chain of abuse.x
Debate: Urban Wildlife
A debate entitled “Urban Wildlife – Coexisting with Wild Animals” has recently been held as part of an ongoing campaign aiming to ease people into coexisting with various species of wild animals. Croatian author Pero Kvesić, the ambassador of the campaign, has described his experiences dealing with wild foxes and emphasized the importance of coexisting with wild animals.x

45 chinchillas have been saved!
With the help of the Mrkvica Organization, our carefully executed action saved the lives of 45 chinchillas! After the Croatian ban on fur farming, which was introduced on January 1, some fur farmers responded to our appeal to put the animals into a shelter. The same incentive has been gaining support across Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia as well.xx
