International Animal Rights Day
On International Animal Rights Day, December 10th, we held a striking performance, sending a “stop” message to the abuse, torture, and killing of animals in various industries. The goal of the performance was to highlight the enormous injustice inflicted upon animals and emphasize that the value of their lives does not depend on their utility and human perception. Caring for others should come before disturbing entertainment!

We reminded that the purchase and use of firecrackers and fireworks of categories F2 and F3 are prohibited throughout the entire year. We asked everyone to show compassion for animals, children, and the elderly and not to use even the permitted pyrotechnics. We wrote to the MUP to increase control over the sale and use of pyrotechnics. At the same time, we requested a legal amendment to allow the use of permitted pyrotechnics only during the New Year’s Eve celebration.
Traditional can be vegan!

The holiday season is upon us, and for many of us, that means gathering with loved ones for gift-giving and tables full of food. Although many people consider the Christmas season the most wonderful time of the year, we reminded that the holiday season brings with it even more mass killing of animals for food. Therefore, we emphasized that almost all traditional dishes and desserts can be made from plant-based ingredients and are, therefore, good for everyone, both for us and for the animals.
Holiday messages from well-known residents of Dubrovnik

Robert Bošković urged people to respond in large numbers and volunteer at the newly opened shelter in Dubrovnik. Members of the band Silente agree with him, inviting people who have the conditions to adopt a dog or cat. We have conveyed these messages with the aim of urging people not to buy animals as gifts for under the Christmas tree.
Celebration without explosions!

We announced that from 27.12. officially allowed use of pyrotechnics, except for firecrackers and firecrackers, which are completely prohibited throughout the year. We reminded you that fines for the use of firecrackers and firecrackers amount to between 660 and 1990 euros. We asked everyone to be a positive example to children who use pyrotechnics without fingers and eyes, and at the same time they will save wild, domestic and domestic animals from fear and danger and protect the environment.
